•Shortage of stock.
•Unavailability of funds to buy a large quantity of stock.

Intervention Insights and Results
Intervention Details:
The client was assisted in applying for finance from the W & R SETA Spaza Shop program. SEDFA also arranged for the client to attend Basic Inventory Training as well as Food Safety training.
Outcome Details:
•The client received funding from W & R SETA amount to R6500 to buy stock.
•Through training, the business is now able to manage inventory, conduct stock tracking, and ensure that inventory is stored safely.
•Turnover has increased from R22 760 during initial assessment to R480 760.
The number of employees increased from two to three.
•The business received a steel cooler box with a trolley from Limpopo Coca-Cola. This is assisting in increasing sales as the business is now selling soft drinks of different sizes.
