Financial Management System – Office Manager:
SEDFA supported Kiasha Park Pharmacy by implementing the Office Manager Financial Management System, which transformed the way the business manages its finances. This system automated bookkeeping, improved record-keeping, and ensured accurate financial reporting, allowing the owner to track revenue, expenses, and cash flow in real-time. It also strengthened compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements, reducing the risk of penalties. Staff were trained to use the system effectively, ensuring that financial records are maintained consistently and that data-driven decisions can be made to support strategic growth.
Access to funding:
Through SEDFA’s Asset Assist Programme, Kiasha Park Pharmacy received funding of R144,579.16 to acquire essential assets, including computer equipment, pharmaceutical stock, and office tools. This investment enabled the pharmacy to streamline its operations, improve inventory management, and ensure consistent availability of products for the community. Additionally, the funding allowed the business to expand its workforce by hiring three additional Pharmacy Assistants, enhancing customer service and operational capacity. The support laid a foundation for scalable operations and more efficient service delivery.
